• Should a well flow test be done?​

  • As the name suggests, only homes with a private well have flow testing completed.

  • Certain lenders require flow testing prior to approving loan funds.

• How long does a well flow test take?

  • A well flow test will take approximately 3 hours to complete.

• What is a normal result?

  • There is no "normal" value for a flow test result, however FHA requires a well deliver a minimum flow of 3-5 GPM prior to loan approval.
