    • Radon is everywhere. It comes from the natural breakdown of uranium in soil, rock and water.​

    • The Surgeon General has warned that radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer.​

  • Can it be found in homes?​

    • Yes, it is common to find radon in every home. It has been reported that one in fifteen homes has an unsafe level of radon.​

  • Can a home be easily tested for radon?​

    • Yes. A certified tester can easily perform a radon test and provide a report within 48-72 hours of initiating the test. All homes should be evaluated for elevated levels.​

  • Can radon be removed from my home?​

    • Yes. If a home has an unsafe level of radon, there are ways to mitigate the problem.​
